For the second time this year, SAMS medical teams have returned to communities across Syria with a mission that goes beyond providing care, a mission to rebuild and restore hope.

From the historic city of Palmyra to Northeast Syria’s Al-Hasakah Governorate, our physicians traveled long distances to reach patients, support local healthcare workers, and strengthen communities that have faced years of hardship

.

At Palmyra National Hospital, patients received specialized consultations and a reminder that they have not been forgotten. In Al-Hasakah, SAMS reached the region for the first time, building new partnerships and delivering care despite challenging conditions.

In parallel with the 24th SAMS International Conference in Aleppo, Syria, more than 150 volunteer physicians and specialists joined the summer mission to provide medical services, perform surgeries, and train the next generation of healthcare professionals across Syria.

The Return & Rebuild Medical Mission is more than a medical initiative, it is a commitment to healing, partnership, and rebuilding a stronger future for Syria. Every patient cared for, every physician trained, and every connection made brings us one step closer to a healthier tomorrow.

Join us in supporting the Return & Rebuild Medical Mission and help ensure that communities across Syria are not left behind.
