This initiative strengthens healthcare infrastructure, expands access to essential services, and supports vulnerable communities, as part of SAMS’s ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality medical care across Syria.
Status: Expansion Phase
Designation: Oncology Treatment Network
The SAMS Oncology Treatment Network is a rapidly expanding system of specialized cancer care centers across Syria, providing free chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, and diagnostic services to patients in regions with severely limited resources. As of early 2026, the network spans Daraa, Deir Ezzor, Hama, Damascus, and longstanding centers in Northwest Syria, including Idlib and Northern Aleppo. By reducing the need for patients to travel long distances and addressing critical shortages of specialized care, the network delivers life-saving treatment, strengthens local healthcare capacity, and brings hope to vulnerable communities across the country.
