Your support funds:
Syrian refugees in Turkey continue to face serious barriers to accessing healthcare, mental health services, rehabilitation, and education. Many families have been displaced since 2011 and still depend on humanitarian support to meet their basic medical needs.
By supporting SAMS, you help ensure that refugees in Syria and Turkey receive free, high-quality healthcare, trauma recovery services, and long-term support through trusted and established programs.
Your donation allows SAMS to provide free medical consultations, physical therapy, mental health counseling, emergency care, and educational support to vulnerable families.
It helps remove financial barriers that prevent Syrian refugees in Turkey from accessing lifesaving treatment and psychological care, especially for children and individuals affected by trauma.
SAMS’ programs primarily serve Syrian refugees in Turkey, including children, adolescents, adults, and families who have been displaced by conflict.
In addition, vulnerable host communities and individuals affected by regional crises also benefit from SAMS’ healthcare, mental health, and education services.
Many refugees have experienced war, displacement, loss, and prolonged uncertainty. These experiences often lead to anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, and emotional distress.
Through its MHPSS Centers in Gaziantep and Kilis, SAMS provides individual counseling, group therapy, and psychoeducation workshops to help refugees rebuild emotional stability and resilience.
When devastating earthquakes affected Turkey and Syria, SAMS immediately mobilized medical teams and resources to support affected communities. The organization provided emergency training, medical supplies, and educational courses for healthcare providers and volunteers, ensuring that refugees and vulnerable families received timely and critical care during the crisis.
SAMS supports children and youth through autism care, physical therapy, mental health services, and education programs. Scholarship initiatives and specialized rehabilitation services help displaced Syrian children continue their education, improve their health, and develop essential life skills despite the challenges of displacement.
You can help by making a donation to support SAMS’ humanitarian work in Turkey. Your contribution directly funds healthcare, mental health services, emergency response, and education programs for refugees.
Every donation helps provide dignity, protection, and hope to Syrian refugees in Turkey who rely on humanitarian assistance for survival and recovery.
