For thousands of people living with heart diseases across Syria, a heart attack is often more than a medical emergency. It becomes a race against a collapsing healthcare system, limited resources, and time itself.

Every chest pain brings fear and uncertainty. Wondering if a local hospital can admit them, if the equipment they need is available, or if the life saving procedure they need is affordable.  Through the SAMS cardiology program and your support, we are working to change this reality.

In 2025 alone, SAMS provided 8,270 life-saving cardiac interventions across Syria, giving thousands of patients another chance to live, recover, and return to their families.

Ms. Dalal was one of those patients.

She arrived at the hospital in the middle of a severe heart attack. A critical blockage threatened her life. There was no time left to wait.
