Communities in northeast Syria are facing a rapidly escalating humanitarian emergency. Renewed violence has forced thousands of families to flee their homes in freezing temperatures, leaving mothers, children, and the elderly without access to even the most basic medical care.
In response to these urgent needs, SAMS has launched an emergency humanitarian effort. As a first step, SAMS has deployed a mobile medical clinic in Raqqa city to deliver essential healthcare services to those in need.
The clinic provides primary healthcare consultations, with a strong focus on pediatric care and treatment of common acute illnesses. Patients requiring specialized care are referred to the Children’s Hospital and other facilities, ensuring continuity of the treatment. By complementing major healthcare centers, the mobile clinic helps reduce delays and ease pressure on overcrowded hospitals.
