Your Support Can Help Save Lives

Because of your continued support, SAMS continues to provide medical services through our mobile clinic in Raqqa, Syria at a time when access to healthcare in northeastern Syria is increasingly fragile. Amid the rapidly evolving situation in the region and its direct impact on essential services, our medical teams are treating patients daily. In just one day this past week, they treated nearly 50 patients, almost half of them children.

Alongside consultations and examinations, teams are providing essential medicines and medical supplies, particularly for patients at high risk of communicable diseases who require immediate treatment.

The impact of this support is felt every day through SAMS-supported pediatric services. At the Kormazah Health Center’s Pediatric Clinic, a young girl suffering from chronic nasal blockage was referred for specialized evaluation, where doctors discovered a small plastic bead lodged in her nasal passage for nearly a year, causing persistent infection. Through coordinated care, treatment, and follow-up, she fully recovered, bringing immense relief and renewed hope to her family.

By complementing overstretched hospitals and health centers, SAMS-supported services reduce delays in care and ease pressure on an already fragile health system. These lifesaving pediatric services are made possible through the continued support of World Vision and compassionate donors like you.

Your support makes this lifesaving work possible. A donation today will help sustain mobile medical and pediatric services in Raqqa and ensure vulnerable families receive the care they urgently need, when and where they need it most.
