Join the #ForMama26 Challenge

In parts of Syria today, a mother in labor does not ask for much. She asks for a trained midwife. A clean delivery room. A doctor who knows what to do if something goes wrong. She asks for the chance to hold her baby safely.

This Ramadan, your gift can help make that possible as part of our For Mama Challenge with Every Pregnancy and through a $9 million Boost Fund supported by our partners, your impact is multiplied to expand lifesaving maternal and newborn care across Syria.

Across Deir Ezzor, Aleppo, Idlib, Hama, and Rural Damascus, SAMS supports nine hospitals and more than 65 health centers delivering continuous care before birth, during delivery, and through a baby’s most fragile first days. From Al Dana Hospital and Qah Maternity Hospital to facilities in Afrin, Idlib, Aleppo, and Deir Ezzor, mothers are finding skilled care in places where the health system has been strained by years of conflict.

In the past year alone, SAMS safely delivered more than 22,000 babies and trained 20 skilled midwives to expand lifesaving capacity in vulnerable communities. Every safe birth represents trained providers, equipped facilities, and a system ready when complications arise.

A gift of $100 can help provide safe delivery services and essential newborn care. $200 can support a life-saving C-section. $500 or more can equip neonatal units with critical tools that keep fragile newborns alive.

This Ramadan, stand with mothers across Syria. Give them more than hope give them safety, dignity, and the chance to hold their babies in their arms. Give today, For Mama.
