Maximize Your Gift and Rewards this Ramadan

In January 2026 alone, more than 600 mothers safely delivered their babies at Al-Mayadeen Hospital in Deir Ezzor. Behind every safe birth was a dedicated medical team and supporters like you, ensuring mothers and newborns received lifesaving care when it mattered most.

But sometimes, even the most joyful moments for a mother can quickly become a race against time.

At Al-Mayadeen Hospital, when baby Joud was born with a rare, life-threatening condition called occipital encephalocele, the medical team acted immediately. Under the care of neurosurgeon Dr. Qutaiba Al Ali, a complex surgery saved his life.

Today, Joud is stable. His mother shared, “For the first time, I can truly imagine Joud growing up like any other child.”

Stories like Joud’s and the safe births of hundreds of mothers each month are possible because of compassionate supporters like you. Yet across Syria, many mothers still face pregnancy and childbirth without access to safe medical care.

In the last 10 nights of Ramadan, join the #ForMama26 Challenge to help more mothers deliver safely and give more babies the chance to grow up healthy.

Your Zakat-eligible gift will be boosted through a $9M+ funding pool, maximizing your impact to provide lifesaving maternal and newborn care across Syria.

Before Ramadan ends, help give more babies the same chance Joud received and stand with the mothers bringing new life into the world.
