SAMS provides essential emergency care, specialized medical interventions, and psychosocial support to communities facing health emergencies, such as cholera outbreaks, and severe shortages in basic medical services.

Türkiye hosts millions of refugees, many facing significant barriers to healthcare, including physical disabilities, mental health issues, and trauma. SAMS’ programs offer specialized rehabilitation services, mental health support, and care for developmental challenges, providing essential relief and facilitating recovery and integration for affected families.

Jordan is home to nearly one million Syrian refugees, most living in poverty and struggling with limited access to healthcare. SAMS operates healthcare facilities providing primary care, dental services, psychosocial support, and specialized surgical interventions, significantly improving the health and well-being of refugee and vulnerable local populations.

Gaza faces ongoing humanitarian crises due to conflict, blockade conditions, and severe shortages in medical supplies, food, and essential items. SAMS provides emergency medical aid, food parcels, clothing, and supports healthcare facilities facing overwhelming demand, bringing critical relief to thousands of affected families.

Lebanon hosts a large population of Syrian refugees alongside vulnerable Lebanese communities, both facing increased economic hardship and limited healthcare access. SAMS supports essential medical care, including dental, ophthalmological, and mental health services, as well as emergency relief like winterization assistance.

The Kurdistan Region of Iraq continues to face challenges from ongoing displacement and stretched healthcare resources. SAMS delivers comprehensive dental and healthcare services, supports training programs for midwives and community health workers, and provides diabetes management for refugee and host communities.

Greece continues to receive significant numbers of refugees and migrants, many facing barriers to healthcare access and integration. SAMS operates mobile healthcare services, offering primary and women’s healthcare, pediatric services, and mental health support, addressing the ongoing humanitarian needs in refugee camps and urban settings.

Since the onset of war in 2022, Ukraine’s healthcare infrastructure has faced severe strain, impacting civilian populations and healthcare workers alike. SAMS provides critical medical equipment, emergency supplies, specialized surgical support, and mental health services, enhancing hospital preparedness and community resilience during ongoing conflict.
