Cancer patients in Syria face enormous barriers: treatment is expensive, specialized facilities are scarce, and the conflict has left many hospitals unable to cope. SAMS bridges this gap by supporting oncology clinics in five key hospitals:
Idlib Central Hospital
Bab Al-Hawa Hospital
Al-Shifaa Hospital, Afrin City
Jarablus Hospital
Al-Bab Hospital
Through our Cancer Treatment Program, SAMS ensures that lifesaving oncology services remain available even in crisis conditions.
Our Care Approach
SAMS follows a cancer care protocol that covers eight priority cancers with full drug coverage: Hodgkin lymphoma, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, breast, stomach, colon, testicular, bladder & ovarian cancers.
For other cancer types, where complete coverage is not possible, patients still receive supportive treatment such as leakage doses. No patient is turned away without assistance.

A Race Against Time: Ahmed's Story
Ahmed Story
“Ahmed traveled from Homs to the Idlib Central Hospital’s Oncology Center in search of care. For four months, he has returned every 21 days for chemotherapy.
“Thank God, things are much better now. At first, I couldn’t sleep or move from the shortness of breath and coughing, but the doctors really helped turn things around.”
Ahmed’s oncologist, Dr. Aiham Jammo, shared that he was diagnosed with lung cancer, a difficult condition to treat. After six rounds of chemotherapy, Ahmed responded well. His next stage is radiation therapy, and both patient and doctor are hopeful for a full recovery.”
