1. How can I make a donation to your organization?
You can donate securely through our website using a credit/debit card, PayPal, or Venmo. We also accept bank transfers, checks, and recurring donations.
2. Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and your donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Our Tax ID is 16-1717058. A donation receipt will be sent to your email.
3. What percentage of my donation goes to helping those in need?
For every dollar donated in 2024, 96 cents went directly to programs.
4. Can I designate my donation to a specific program or cause?
Absolutely. During the donation process, you can select the project or fund you’d like your gift to support.
5. How do I set up a recurring monthly donation?
When donating online, select the option to make your gift monthly. You can manage or cancel recurring donations at any time by emailing info@sams-usa.net.
6. Will I receive a receipt for my donation?
Yes. You will receive an email confirmation immediately after donating, and an annual tax statement will be sent each January.
7. Do you accept matching gifts?

8. What is your refund policy for donations?
If you believe your donation was made in error, please email info@sams-usa.net within 30 days for a refund.
9. Can I donate in honor or memory of someone?
Yes, you can dedicate your donation. Include a note in the online comments and we can email the honoree. If you mail in your gift, please include a note with this info.
10. Do you accept gift- in-kind donations like medical supplies or equipment?

11. Can I mail my donation instead of giving online?
Yes! If you prefer to donate by check or money order, please make it payable to SAMS Foundation and mail it to: SAMS Foundation PO Box 34115 Washington, DC 20043 To help us acknowledge your gift properly, please include your full contact information and include a note if you would like your donation directed toward a specific program.
