Why Partnerships Matter
Governments are cutting back on humanitarian aid, even as global needs are rising. In a devastating blow to humanitarian efforts, the U.S. government terminated over 10,000 foreign aid grants and contracts, leaving millions of people without access to lifesaving services.

Our Coalition & Advocacy Networks
American Relief Coalition for Syria (ARCS)
A coalition of 13 Syrian-American organizations, ARCS coordinates relief and advocacy efforts. SAMS is a founding member, contributing to over $110 million in aid.
#WithSyria Coalition
SAMS sits on the Steering Committee of this global coalition of 130+ NGOs. Together, they amplify Syrian voices through joint media and advocacy campaigns.
Syria Relief Network (SRN)
SAMS co-founded SRN, a network of 60+ Syrian NGOs. It enhances coordination and advocacy across Syria and neighboring countries.
Safeguarding Health in Conflict Coalition (SHCC)
SAMS works with SHCC to protect healthcare in war zones. Members include WHO, Johns Hopkins, and Physicians for Human Rights.
