Support Syria’s Healers This Ramadan

As Ramadan approaches, we pause to reflect on the courage and resilience of the 1,800+ SAMS-supported healthcare workers serving communities across Syria.

Khaled, a pharmacist at the Atarib Health Center, chose to stay in Syria and serve his community despite years of conflict. Working with SAMS, he believes that “being a pharmacist is not just a profession; it’s a message of hope in difficult times.”

Every day, these doctors, nurses, and medical teams walk into clinics that often lack electricity, essential medicines, or basic supplies. Many work long hours while worrying about their own families’ safety. Some travel through damaged roads or active conflict zones just to reach their patients. Yet, they show up again and again, because they know their communities depend on them.

Despite immense challenges, they serve with compassion and dignity, made possible by your generosity, which equips clinics and ensures families can access care when it matters most.

This holy month is a time of reflection, generosity, and renewal. By standing with Syria’s healthcare heroes this Ramadan, you help restore health, protect lives, and renew hope for communities still rebuilding after years of crisis.

This Ramadan, your compassion strengthens the hands that heal Syria.
