Key Responsibilities:
- Record and review asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information
- Making sure that all supporting documentation have been collected and attached to the transaction and archived in a appropriate way,
- Maintain and balances subsidiary account by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies
- Maintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling all Bank accounts statements
- Maintain Grants and Project expenses reports and schedules
- Process appropriate adjusting journal entries as needed
- Oversee A/P, A/R, payroll, and general ledger functions and Conduct By-weekly Salary cost allocation and record it into the financial system.
- Preparing month-end / year-end close, balance sheet reconciliation,
- Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and assist in preparation of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheets, and other financial and other accounting schedules and contract reports)
- Assist in preparation of the annual corporate budget and monthly management reports and accompanying schedules, worksheets and narratives, including the corporate “Budget vs. Actual” variance reports. Assist in providing follow-up and documentation of significant variances
- Assist the Finance Manager with all audits. Complete requested materials. Assist in preparing assigned audit work papers and schedules for the annual and interim audit
- Assist with other accounting related and special projects assigned by management
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or Masters
- More than 5 year experience
Desired Characteristics:
- Ability to travel outside the United States
- Bilingual (Arabic)
