Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing consistent policies including Employee Handbooks, Standards of Conduct, Travel Policy
- Answer employee questions and respond to concerns with regards to policies, procedures, and employee relations
- Maintain the strictest confidentiality of all employee information including but not limited to employee relations, policies, and procedures
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining the performance management system, T&D and employee relations areas
- Prepares reports, graphs, charts and statistics in support of human resources operations
- Conduct the full recruitment and selection cycle, including orientation, for staff, contractors, and interns for specific departments or roles
- Provide support to the regional offices regarding policies, procedures, legality, employee relations, and other HR functions
- Organize and conduct orientation for all new hires
- Create and implement the internship program
- Serve as backup for payroll, compensation and benefits, and files
- Participate in preparing and conducting HR activities, presentations and other HR projects
- Provide ongoing support for HR team regarding all HR functions
- Support other functions as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- 5 years of proven experience in HR or relevant human resources position
- Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
- Strong knowledge of Human Resources law and Employment law
- Experience with full cycle recruitment
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality
- Good organizational and time management skills
Desired Characteristics:
- SHRM or another HR certification
