Hani Abou Hatab is an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Infectious Disease and Clinical Informatics at Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine. He completed a combined fellowship in Clinical Informatics and Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Duke University, where he also earned a Master’s in Management of Clinical Informatics. His work has included generative AI implementation in electronic health records, data analytics consulting, and quality improvement projects. Currently, he is in the early stages of a research project exploring the use of machine learning for disease prediction and diagnostics in the neonatal intensive care unit.
