SAMS:
World Refugee Day 2024

Standing Together in Strength and Resilience

On June 20th, join SAMS to commemorate the unwavering strength and courage of those who have been forced to flee their homes in Syria and beyond.

Recognize
Their Struggle

The humanitarian crisis in Syria is now in its second decade, with 16.7 million people in need of assistance. The conflict has displaced over half of the population, including more than 5 million refugees in neighboring countries and over 7.2 million internally displaced within Syria.

Amidst these overwhelming challenges, SAMS has remained a steadfast source of support since 2011. World Refugee Day is a time to recognize their remarkable resilience and to renew our commitment to supporting them.

Join our efforts to provide dignified care to Syrian refugees and vulnerable communities worldwide. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those who have lost so much but continue to show incredible strength.

Extend Your Care

In the past year alone, SAMS has provided 3.6 million free medical services across 10 countries, including Syria, Türkiye, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Pakistan, Egypt, Greece, Ukraine, and the USA. Our efforts extend beyond medical care; we have also led critical earthquake relief efforts inside Syria and provided emergency aid to Gaza, Morocco, and Libya.

We sponsor hospitals, mobile clinics, and ambulances in Northern Syria, train and pay the salaries of Syrian medical personnel, support medical education disrupted by the conflict, and deliver life-saving humanitarian aid and medical equipment to where it is needed most.

Today, as we celebrate World Refugee Day, we invite you to join us in our mission. By standing together, we can continue to provide the essential care and support that Syrian refugees and other displaced individuals desperately need.
