World Humanitarian Day:
Honoring Courage, Compassion, and Commitment

Support SAMS

Today, on World Humanitarian Day, we commemorate and celebrate the incredible medical workers worldwide who risk their lives to save others. Support SAMS’ dedicated teams responding to humanitarian crises in Gaza and Syria.

“It’s critically important that we continue to support humanitarian workers. We must work together to support and protect them, and ensure that they have adequate resources to carry out their work.”

David Lillie, SAMS’ Executive Director

Responding to the
Crisis in Syria

Syria’s ongoing conflict has led to one of the worst humanitarian crises of our time, with 14.6 million people still in need of urgent aid.

SAMS medical teams are on the front lines, delivering over 280,000 medical services each month, including life-saving trauma care and essential mental health support.

Today, on World Humanitarian Day, your support can help us continue this vital work, bringing hope to millions.

Emergency Relief
in Gaza

Since October 2023, Gaza has endured relentless violence and a crippling blockade. More than 34,000 lives have been lost, and the medical infrastructure is in ruins. Despite these challenges, SAMS has delivered crucial medical supplies, coordinated emergency missions, and provided direct aid to thousands of displaced families.

On this World Humanitarian Day, we ask you to stand with us to support the courageous healthcare workers in Gaza as they fight to save lives under unimaginable conditions.
