Mental Health
and Psychosocial
Support Programs
Overview:
SAMS has created a lifeline of Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) programs across Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, and Turkey. We stand by children and mothers, offering therapy to heal the deep scars of trauma, anxiety, PTSD, and depression.
Our programs empower women, advocate for human rights, and provide specialized care for survivors of gender-based violence. By supporting children's emotional and educational needs, we help them overcome the unimaginable challenges they face.
Our Impact:
-
80% of Syrian refugee children have lost a family member.
-
60% have suffered physical attacks.
-
More than half of all Syrian children show symptoms of PTSD.
